Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer will oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds according to Hilton Worldwide and local regulations.  Deals with emergencies, unplanned breakdowns and repairs,  is responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel. Manage on-site contractors and any outside maintenance done by contractors.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or a similar varied work environment such as ships or hospitals
• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering
• A certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, required
