Are you passionate about building new solutions for Business Intelligence (BI) ecosystem and work closely with BI architecture?

With us you have the opportunity to:

• Build and grow the bank’s internal Group Data Warehouse (GDW) capabilities within our Group Business Intelligence team;
• Help build, maintain and support data integrations and applications that underpin our operational and analytical needs. The role will help build and evolve standards and patterns towards a data centric bank; 
• Swedbank is increasing its analytical capabilities and diversifying its data landscape, looking at new ways of capitalizing on data, with the goal of better knowing and hence better serving our customers. In doing this, new platforms and technologies for discovery, advanced analytics and big data and security management will be explored and introduced. This will be done in close cooperation with the business and IT;
• Architecture governance of platform, development processes, and evolution and support of the GDW environment;
• Solution design and support of GDW integrations, including topics, producers, consumers and streaming applications;
• Optimizing Operational management of the GDW platform secure a stable highly available service with no downtime and no data loss.

To succeed as a GDW BI Architect in our team, you need:

• Relevant academic degree;
• At least 10 years of experience in BI/DW architecture related roles;
• Experience of leading architectural work in large enterprise transformation programs;
• Solid understanding of information architecture, data governance and BI service development methodology;
• Deep experience in providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring;
• Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Fluency in written and oral English;
• Be onsite in Tallinn and be prepared to travel (subject to any restrictions);
• As an architect you are business oriented and understand that architecture is a means to an end and not a goal in itself. You are eager to learn how the business works and how new technology in the BI area can be used to accelerate business and customer value;
• You are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude and you are able to work both individually and with other people from different parts of Swedbank.
