Information Officer

A Foreign Mission in Helsinki that covers Finland and Estonia is looking for an Information Officer for a half time position (20 hours a week) starting this winter.

The Information Officer will be working remotely in Tallinn/Estonia.

Work duties include content management of social media platforms, mapping of relevant contacts (economy, culture, media), and monitoring and reporting on the local news.

We are looking for a person with, at least, a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, relevant work experience, and a solid understanding of the Estonian society and economy.

• Ability to work with a great deal of independence, good organisation and accountability
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong IT skills
• Complete fluency, both written and oral, in both Estonian and English. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.

The position is subject to a security clearance.
