Accountant

At Starship, we are redefining how goods reach the places in which we live. We have brought together some incredible talent and have entered commercial pilots with hundreds of robots driving along sidewalks across the United States and four countries in Europe. We believe that soon there will be thousands of our robots around the world. To continue this mission, we are now looking for an Accountant to join our team to support the world of finances of all the Starship subsidiaries in Europe (Estonia, Finland, UK, Germany, Denmark). This role will be reporting directly to Head of Accounting Europe and will have a Senior Accountant to support them. In this job role, your responsibilities will include:

Expense reports for all European subsidiaries of Starship

Make sure merchants bills are recorded and payments processed

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Close end of month for bookkeeping

Inventory

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Strong numeracy and analytical skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or 3+ years working experience in Accounting

Working knowledge of GAAP It would be great if you also have:

Experience with accounts Payable/Receivable and Month-End close
