Data Analyst

Functions of this new position will consist of:
• Leading Insurance data analytics projects to create one Insurance data model for whole Baltic company
• Preparing technical specifications for IT development, based on business requirements, priorities and expected results, applying LEAN approach.
• Developing data analysis tools using MS tabular data models and PowerBI.
• Presenting reporting models and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
• Taking part in initiatives to make business work more effective

The person we are looking for has:
• At least Bachelor’s degree in any of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects;
• Deep interest in data science and data engineering area;
• At least 2-year experience in data science, analytics or BI area;
• High analytical capability and structural capacity, ability to take initiative and work independently, orientation toward results;
• High motivation and commitment for the organization, willingness to learn and share knowledge with others, good communication skills;
• High competence and experience in work with databases. SQL knowledge;
• Fluency in English and one of the Baltic languages (Lithuanian, Latvian or Estonian);
• Bonus points for: knowledge of PowerBI, Python; working experience in Insurance field;
