Oracle Database Administrator (Live)

Playtech’s Live group is responsible for developing a premium casino product offering an unparalleled entertainment experience that customers can enjoy from the comfort of their own homes. The Live group is truly international – developers, testers, analysts and designers are located in multiple locations around the globe.

Responsibilities:
• Proactive planning of database resources
• Participation in database design improvement
• Process automation
• Database performance tuning and query optimization
• Database export/import operations according to QA and development requirements
• Planning, administering and support of development, test and production databases

Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of VLDB principles
• Basic knowledge of RAC environments
• Proven experience of (PL)/SQL language and query performance
• Experience and understanding of DB performance, analytical and load tools
• Experience in working with UNIX- and Linux-based operating systems (Red Hat and CentOS preferred)

Beneficial skills:
• Experience in RAC administration
• Basic knowledge of Java, product development lifecycle and Maven
• Experience with Cassandra
• Experience with Jenkins
