Personal Care Assistant

We currently have a vacancy for a personal care assistant who will be looking after a middle aged woman paralyzed from neck down. The care assistant will be working for two weeks at a time (two weeks on, two weeks off). On each two week shift she will help the Client with things like washing, dressing, making food, shopping, laundry, cleaning and administering medication. The client will also be travelling to Ireland and across England with the carers accompanying her.

*Driver’s licence and driving experience.
*Non-smoker.
*Reliability and flexibility.
*Care experience is not essential as we offer full and comprehensive training.
*It is important that you are able to speak and understand English.
*Availability of 6-12 months.

*Salary £16 to £20 000 per year.
*Good quality company accommodation near the Client (at £65 per week). The house is furnished, has a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen.
*Use of a company car – you are able to use the car for personal use.
*Support from friendly, helpful staff.
*Assistance with WRS, National Insurance and Bank account .
*Comprehensive 5 day initial training.
*NVQ training available.
