Technical Superintendent

Organise and control the repair and maintenance of the assigned vessel;
Prevent downtime of the vessel;
Provide the necessary requirements for safe operation of the vessel;
Investigate, propose and implement possible cost reductions without affecting the uptime of the vessel;
Monitor and control the execution and administration of planned maintenance on board;
Follow up damage claims with Allseas’ Insurance and/or Legal Department;
Keep technical documentation and history of vessels and equipment up to date.

Working as part of a team, co-operation and flexibility together with excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. The ability to plan and deliver within given deadlines is imperative as is the ability to administer technical and budgetary requirements. You should have previous experience as a Superintendent Engineer, or have recent experience as a Chief Engineer and be able to demonstrate a willingness to further your career ashore. You should preferably have a recognised engineering or naval architecture qualification either at sea or from an educational establishment.
