R&D PROJECT ENGINEER

This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work with advanced electronics technologies in an international environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing customer-specific products based on thick film and LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technologies. You will take responsibility for technical design as well as for leading product development projects and driving cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop customer-specific products based on thick film and LTCC technologies
• Lead product development projects from concept to industrialization
• Define new products and support their introduction into manufacturing
• Create and maintain product structures and process phases in the ERP system
• Perform layout design and required adjustments for the LTCC manufacturing process
• Design test solutions and production tooling
• Maintain and further develop existing products
• Work closely with production teams to ensure manufacturability of newly developed products
• Coordinate project activities across R&D, production, quality assurance, and sales teams
• Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, priorities and project reporting
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and represent R&D in customer-related projects
• Monitor project-related costs and support quotation preparation and budget estimation
• Work on-site with production teams to follow up products in manufacturing and support their successful implementation

Qualifications and Experience
• Experienced engineer in demanding electronics design or product development roles
• Strong project management and technical skills in product development projects
• Proven ability to lead complex development projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (Electronics, Mechatronics, or Materials Engineering)
• Understanding of industrial standards and classifications used in electronics manufacturing
• Experience with electronic design and layout tools
• Experience working with ERP or PLM systems (product structures, BOM management)
• Knowledge of CAM350, PADS 2007S, or Supermax ECAD is considered an advantage
