Software developer (JavaScript)

Guestjoy is looking for a Front End Developer to help improve guest experience for hotels globally. Your role will be focusing more on front-end side to improve how hotels and also guest interact with the app. But don't worry, if you find this too one-sided, there is plenty of room for full-stack skills.

You love UX and are very design driven.
You have plenty of experience with different technologies like Bootstrap, Sass. Any experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Meteor, Angular, Ember, React, Aurelia, Backbone, Vue etc. is a huge plus.

You can expect interesting technical challenges. Our platform is built on Node.js, runs in Docker containers on Amazon EC2, load balancer, MongoDB, SES and other goodies. You’ll be working with the latest technologies and with solid argumentation, you can bring in your own favourites. None of this legacy crap! Our service has been used by more than 500000 guests. Although our customers are mainly in Europe, guests can use our service globally. You don’t have to spew out mediocre project based code to customers who come and go. We design stuff for ourselves and our clients until we feel good about the result. Our current UI is has been built on BlazeJS.

We are located in central Tallinn in a penthouse office (surrounded by apple trees) with many of dining options nearby. Our work environment is very flexible and you will hear no bullshit from anybody. Things are told like they are.
