Vendor Manager

We are looking for a Vendor Manager to join Bolt’s Global Operations (Rides) team on our journey to aggressively grow our Rides vertical.

The Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing the vendors who support us globally, across multiple supply acquisition, conversion and retention workstreams. These vendors provide critical support to our work in understanding how people use our products, the frictions that we will need to reduce and/or eliminate in order to efficiently acquire, convert and retain them better to improve Bolt’s value proposition across the cities we operate in.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Setting up and/or improving processes to evaluate, select and onboard new/current vendors in collaboration with the Global Procurement team
  • Manage vendor performance via bi-weekly/monthly business reviews with them and the market(s) they are supporting
  • Establish, manage and continually optimise the end-to-end market delivery, supplier engagement and supplier training processes so that Bolt achieves the expected outcomes from our vendors
  • Conduct audits/reviews/quality checks as and when required and/or at an agreed frequency with stakeholders
  • Manage vendor relationships across the Global Ops (Rides) team, so all vendors are operating to the highest standards, and in compliance with the latest legal and data protection requirements
  • Managing negotiations for all new vendors onboarded in collaboration with the Global Procurement team
  • Updating terms and conditions, service level agreements, KPIs with existing vendors when required in collaboration with the Global Procurement team.

Requirements

We are looking for:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a Business or relevant field
  • 3+ years of working experience in Procurement with a strong focus on vendor management and operations management
  • You have a proven ability to identify, analyse, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, having a bias for action and driving results
  • You have excellent communication skills and strong business judgement to work with 50+ country teams on a regular basis
  • Ability to work with business partners in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support their needs
  • You are a strong analytical and strategic thinker who loves to solve problems (advanced Excel skills are a must)
  • Strong organisational skills which includes relentless prioritisation on an ongoing basis.
