Your tasks

• Designing creative and targeted web experiences, marketing campaign assets, and UI for clients across a variety of industries and sectors.
• Presenting your work both internally and to clients.
• Translating customer feedback into tangible, actionable revisions.
• Delivering results you can be proud of and that will help you grow professionally and personally.
• Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Maintaining the look and feel of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Designing visual images for websites and ensuring they are consistent with the organization's brand identity.
• Working with the various content management systems, e.g. Wordpress, Typo3.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Incorporating features and functions into websites.
• Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
• Creating design plans and presenting website structure.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience (experience in a digital agency is a plus).


• Understanding of customer preferences in regard to design in the DACH region.


• Experience in dealing with customers from the DACH region.


• Strong painting and sketching skills are obligatory.


• Strong skills in working with a graphics tablet is mandatory.


• Excellent visual design skills.


• Open to new ideas.


• Strong portfolio and examples of digital work (website designs, wireframes, marketing assets).


• Experience working with Figma.


• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).


• Strong experience with Adobe InDesign and InCopy 


• Strong understanding of best-practice web design, UI/UX, branding, and graphic design.


• Strong knowledge of creating wireframes and design mockups based on a given design direction.


• Creative philosophy and passion you love what you do and bring that to the table.


• Good understanding of content management systems and theme templates.


• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.


• Good understanding of compatibility between different browsers and operating systems.


• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
