Main responsibilities
- Design and implement EOL test benches, including electrical interfaces, fixtures, instrumentation, and automation
- Develop and maintain test software(GUI/CLI/test scripts) to execute test steps, calibrations, and result logging
- Create firmware flashing toolsand procedures for production lines
- Select, integrate, and control measurement devices (DMMs, oscilloscopes, load banks, environmental sensors, etc.)
- Build diagnostic utilitiesfor fault detection and yield improvement
- Define and track test metrics(yield, cycle time, error rates) and drive improvements
- Support production in troubleshooting test failures and equipment issues
- Document test procedures, wiring maps, and software release notes
Requirements
- Strong understanding of electronics(schematics, wiring, PCB basics)
- Experience with test automationin one or more languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, C#, or similar)
- Familiarity with serial communication interfaces(UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN, Ethernet)
- Experience using typical lab measurement tools(oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies)
- Ability to design custom test fixtures(3D modeling skills are a plus)
- Experience developing firmware flashing workflows
- Solid documentation and version control habits (Git)
