Job Description

As a Test Engineer you are responsible for requirement management and testing web applications. Your day-to-day activities include gathering requirements from our customers, identifying use cases, identifying test cases, executing test cases, and ensuring quality assurance through our projects.

Requirements

Knowledge of the following is required:

• Functional and non-functional testing of web applications
  
• Agile processes
  
• Knowledge of UI, performance and security testing
  
• Test automation
  

We expect a good working knowledge of test management and agile development model. You should have the ability to learn new systems and technologies fast and still thoroughly.

It is an advantage if you know any of the following:

• Quality management disciplines, such as ISO 9000, CMMI, Six Sigma, or Lean
  
• Mastering Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, XHTML, or JavaScript
  

You are capable of working on your own or as part of a team and are able to solve issues in the first try. Understanding both the details and the big picture of a solution is easy for you and you are not afraid of challenges,

You communicate openly, and you’re willing to learn more to develop yourself as a professional. You communicate fluently in English. The knowledge of Finnish language is an asset, but not mandatory.
