The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, Technical Operations Specialist to join the team here at Genius Sports Media! The Technical Operations Specialist is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with clients, uncovering their requirements, and being involved from the early stages of high-profile commercial opportunities to post-sale and implementation. Please consider this is an entry level position.
Main responsibilities:
- Overall ownership of the onboarding process for new advertising customers and go-live troubleshooting
- Work within a team that collectively delivers excellent onboarding and customer experience using our services
- Management, analysis and troubleshooting of digital marketing campaigns and its technical processes
- Record, troubleshoot and generate solutions to problems reported by clients. This requires communication skills and quality driven solutions
- Querying databases for reporting and data analysis purposes
- Deploying and troubleshooting site tags
- Collaborate across multiple internal teams, such as business development, engineering and ad operations to ensure quick delivery of our services
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising (DSP exchange platforms, tagging, mobile measurement platforms)
- Fluent, clear and concise written and verbal communication in English
- Critical thinking skills, with a methodical approach to problem solving
- Preferably previous experience in operations related job field
- Preferably a degree in marketing, engineering, business, communication or related technology field
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL or any other coding languages
- Social Platform background/knowledge - Facebook Ads, Google Ads etc.
