To complete our team, we are looking for applications from passionate and enthusiastic candidates with knowledge of a wide range of history subject areas including multiple geographic regions, time periods and socio-economic groups for the position of:
Teacher of History

Responsibilities
- Teach History to students aged 14-18 years
- Deliver the school’s curricula for this age range: IGCSE and the IB Diploma
- Write regular reports on student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences
- Collaborate with colleagues and develop and share resources
- Participate in all school and department activitie
Requirements
- Appropriate History degree and teaching qualification
- Experienced History teacher
- Experience of the IB and IGCSE programmes
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A caring, sensitive attitude towards students; an outstanding and inspirational teacher
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and parents
- Knowledge and experience of school management systems (Managebac and ISAMs will be advantageous) and the Google Educator Suite
- Fluency in English is essential and a degree of competency in French is desired; if not, a commitment to learn French to a reasonable standard is essential
