SW Specialist to IoT Development Lab

We are looking for Highly-Motivated SW Specialists / Linux Engineers to IoT Development Lab in Tartu

At the moment we are looking for experienced SW Specialists to help us grow our competence in Tartu. You would start your journey in our internal IoT Development Lab, helping us to increase our potential within IoT development.Your future colleagues are waiting for you to join our international team. Our way of working is flexible too, many of our team work remotely from home with visits to our office from time to time when needed.

Our operations are based on the intersection of three global macro trends – IoE, 5G and AI. At the same time, globalization and digitalization in our core business areas, the automotive industry, the industry 4.0, and secure systems and communications, require an understanding of broader entities and more precise technology-specific expertise. In addition to experienced software developers, our growing company will need support from experts who have a good perception of the bigger picture, who are ready to work in a company that is flexible and low-hierarchy and who share our desire to develop the business together with other top experts in their field. 

The software professional we are looking for should be comfortable with at least some of the following:

Main skils:

- Linux OS (systemd, network, drivers, kernel)

- Yocto (building/configuration)

- Docker (Swarm/Kubernetes)

- Programming languages: C/C++/Python/JS/Shell Script

Beneficial:

- Experience with boot loaders (GRUB, U-Boot)

- AWS IoT / Azure IoT Hub cloud platform

- Databases (MongoDB, Sqlite etc)

We do not expect that you are an expert in all these mentioned technologies, but to have strong knowledge in one area and solid understanding about few other topics.To find the right position for you, please introduce yourself to us and describe your experience and areas of interest. Please note that this role requires to be based in Tartu, Estonia.
