Job Description

The Software System Archtiect will manage the IT / SW Infrastructure of ITP tools/applications.
Software system architect main task is to be the customer interface, make the architecture part of development of new systems and applications, to secure the quality of the deliverables.

• Create systems and solution architectures in consultation with stakeholders
• Be the customer interface (i.e. super user, Operative product Manager) in early phases of a project, when additional functionality and/or behavioural changes of a system/application are needed.
• Together with software developers carry out the design work of systems and applications.
• Secure the quality on the delivered systems and applications.
• Prepare some Documentation of the application/work.
• Carry out pre-studies for new and/or updates of systems and applications.
• Recommend and introduce new technologies
• Troubleshooting and investigations
• Participate at design reviews of the tools/applications.
• Participate in and actively contribute to the overall planning for the department.
• Participate in and actively contribute to the strategic work for the department.
• Act as team leader

Requirements

EDUCATION
University Degree in an Engineering/computer related discipline with ITIL certification or strong working knowledge of ITIL/CMMi. Minimum of 5 years in SW System Architect or IT systems administration, architecture, design and build in medium to large Telco or IT environment
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates probably have an IT education / engineering background with experience from production environment. We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude who is used to work in complex environments of design applications.
Strong IT Systems Engineering experience and knowledge within the IT area (ie. application development, testing, maintenance, etc)
The preferred candidate should have the ability to see wide perspective, lead change, be committed to fulfil, as the role involves communication and interaction with people throughout the Ericsson organization as well as IT suppliers.
