Senior Electrical Project Manager

We are looking to our Insta Globe Engineering team experienced senior electrical engineer / project manager: We offer an exciting opportunity to work with leaders in Maritime & Energy sectors and be a part of a team influencing the industry. The Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager will manage the electro-technical scope, and work with multi-disciplinary engineering teams planning vessels’ retrofit and Energy infrastructure projects. You will work in close co-operation with Naval Architects and Project Managers on challenging assignments that include investigating, calculating, measuring, commissioning, trouble-shooting, and implementing a wide variety of electrical engineering issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrange project inspections, estimation and budgeting/pricing according to requirement

• Lead project preparation, planning of activities (implementation, personnel, logistics, finance, safety etc.)

• Involve and manage resources

• Launch the project and carry on coordination with involved teams

• Communicate with the Client and project stakeholders, manage the project team

• Maintain the reputation of the company and develop customer relationships

• Ensure the existence of required project documents, approvals, regulations etc. and reporting

• HSE management and reporting

• Comply procedures approved by the company

• Arrange task and budget management and reporting

• Provide a project handover according to requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE:

• Technical or maritime education

• Previous work experience in a similar field, knowledge of maritime or energy sector. Experience in oil/gas industry / offshore adds extra points.

• Ability to work independently & to take a trip to offshore or foreign country.

• Strong ability for multi-tasks and complete assignments under tight deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Office products, Project management tools, knowledge in AutoCad.

• High English language skills (spoken and written)

• Preferably 5 years managerial work experience
