Responsibilities
- Perform compliance-related activities, specifically monitoring, oversight and training
- Ensure that business areas meet and maintain compliance requirements by developing and reviewing new policies, procedures, and training materials
- Respond to alleged violations of compliance rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by recommending the initiation of investigative procedures
- Maintain and improve company compliance processes and procedures
- Risk assessment of existing clients/partners/business projects
- Interact with external examiners, auditors, and partners as necessary to answer compliance management or product compliance questions and fulfill documentation requests
- Monitor and provide guidance on emerging regulations in the sector
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Legal and AML/CTF Teams alongside business stakeholders
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a financial institution as a compliance specialist
- Degree in Law is a plus
- Strong and broad understanding of compliance laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; working proficiency in Estonian, and Russian is a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Willing to learn and develop in the Compliance area
