Senior Compliance Officer

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Work with the bank’s units responsible for a wide variety of investment products and offerings including Baltic Savings and Insurance Support and Large Customers and Institutions (incl. Markets, Corporate Institutions Advisory, Investment Analysis, Custody) as well as other units in the bank;
• Assist the bank’s management in taking informed decisions about compliance risk related to MiFID II and MAR;
• Assess risks related to new business and change initiatives and the relevant measures to mitigate the risk;
• Monitor, follow-up, and control that the business is adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and routines related to Customer Protection and Market Conduct Risk;
• Take a role in assisting the bank’s Compliance’s processes and ways of working to reach further excellence globally;
• Participate in relevant working groups and committees;
• Assist in developing and performing trainings to employees.

• Three years of experience from working in a bank or another financial institution, financial supervision or other relevant role;
• Knowledge of investment services legislation, incl. MiFID II and MAR;
• Good legal interpretation and analytical skills;
• Team player, service-minded and flexible;
• Master's in law or economics is preferable;
• Strong communication skills;
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written Estonian and English.
