While building the infrastructure for trust online is our biggest goal, we need a happy team if we want to change the world. Aligning over 300 people is a challenge, but there's nothing our Finance department can't handle.
As a member of the Finance team, you will help support our data-driven culture by managing payroll, accounts payable, and tax and statutory reporting processes with all stakeholders. Your positivity, knowledge in accounting, and fast “can do” attitude will help to find quick solutions to even the most unusual problems that arise in a high growth start-up environment.

That's millions of verified identities a year and a lot of people working behind the scenes to help make the lives of millions, and one day billions, of people safer online.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Supporting Estonian accounting operations and overseeing accounting function in other countries
- Completing payroll calculations and related tax calculations
- Managing the Accounts Payable process as well as supporting AP specialists: reviewing purchase invoices, card payment transactions, and expense reports
- Ensuring correct cost allocation, periodization of expenses
- Implementing best practices and documenting processes such as AP and Payroll
- Submitting local statutory reports relevant for its specific area (e.g. in Estonia TSD, KMD, Statistics, Social Insurance)
- Supporting implementation of new tooling (e.g. ERP)
- Supporting with month-end closing
- Working in cooperation with the Finance Department on process developments as well as the annual financial audit
Requirements
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:
- 5+ years work experience in Accounting and and hands-on experience with Estonian accounting
- Excellent Estonian and English
- Highly proficient, having skills and experience needed to excel in Accounting responsibility areas (Estonian accounting standards, taxation)
- High level Excel skills
- A detail-oriented mindset, while also having generalisation skills
- A “can-do” attitude, with the ability to prioritise and deliver
- The team player ethic, while being comfortable working independently
You’re an especially awesome match if you have:
- Worked in a multinational team before
- Experience with International Accounting
- Experience with a large-scale ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Workday)
