Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel who understands the context where our product is placed by our clients, can help our clients to apply it and provide valuable input on how we can add even more value. You will have a chance to be engaged in regulatory discussions, provide input on product functionalities and advise what stance should Veriff take now and in the future concerning regulatory challenges. You thrive on regulatory context - especially around KYC, AML, fintech, financial services and/or gambling, and like to keep up with, and contribute to, regulatory developments. You do not shy away from working with jurisdictions you have not worked before, project management with an aim of helping Veriff deliver successful go-to-markets.

What do we need you to bring?

• Master’s degree in Law and at least 3-5 years of legal experience but more is always an asset
• Knowledge and practical legal experience in dealing with regulatory, especially customer due diligence, KYC and identity verification, matters
• Understanding of privacy and data protection frameworks
• Excellent writing, communication, project management and presentation skills 
• An innovative and solution-oriented mindset
• A team player mentality and the ability to interact with multiple levels in the company in an international environment
