The Role
At Genius Sports we believe the whole team is responsible for owning the quality of the product they create, and the QA's mission in the team is to guide them to the right direction! This puts you in a fun and dynamic position of an adviser, shift-left advocate, strategy-creator but also hands-on end to end automation implementer, metrics guru and product-level exploratory tester.
Main Responsibilities
- Quality Assistance – mentoring teams on how to deliver high quality software products.
- Expanding visibility of quality, suggesting metrics-based quality process improvements.
- Transforming requirements into user flows and advising what testing will need to be done.
- Supporting the team to improve on Exploratory Testing and Automation Practices.
- Hands on implementation of frameworks and automated end to end tests.
- Story Acceptance from QA perspective.
- Creating quality roadmaps for the team.
Required Skills
- Solid commercial QA experience
- Hands-on automation experience
- API testing experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance & DevOps methodologies. Shift-Left experience would be beneficial, although not required;
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum;
- Load/Performance testing experience would be a big plus;
- Good spoken and written English.
