Job Description

Do you want to run and coordinate model development projects at the very core of Swedbank's business model? Are you structured, flexible and enjoy working with the stakeholders high up in the bank?

We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to work within the credit risk modelling unit. In this role you help modellers to manage credit risk model development projects (IRB) and coordinate project deliveries both internally in the bank as well as to supervisory authorities. Previous experience in project management/coordination is essential for the role and you should be used to communicating plans and results to stakeholders.

Credit Risk Modelling (CRM) is a unit within Group Risk responsible for the development and maintenance of the IRB models and economic capital models used in the area of Credit Risk. The team currently holds 30 people working in teams both both in Sweden and Estonia.

 

With us you have the opportunity to:

  • Provide project management support to modellers, i.e you will help plan and coordinate modelling projects in close cooperation with the modelers in the team;
  • Support modellers with stakeholder communication throughout the bank;  
  • Coordinate supervisory applications for new IRB models;
  • Coordinate the Credit Risk modelling communication with supervisors;

 

You will work together with the Baltic modelling team from the main office in Tallinn, but in close cooperation with colleagues in the Swedish part of Credit Risk Modelling.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in relevant field;
  • Working experience from the financial sector; 
  • Proven skills in project management/project coordination;
  • Working both independently and in teams;
  • Following up on deadlines/deliveries from different stakeholders.

Prior experience from IRB models, banking, credit risk and/or financial regulations will be considered an advantage.

You need to be driven, result-oriented and have an ability to produce high quality results and present them to stakeholders. You need to be flexible and enjoy working in an environment that produces new challenges continuously. Fluency in English, in speech as well as writing, is imperative to be eligible for the position.
