The key responsibilities for the position are:
Ongoing safety surveillance of the companys products including detection and evaluation of safety signals, chairmanship of internal Safety committees and collaborations with external Data Monitoring Committees.
Additional responsibility includes communication of drug safety issues internally and to health authorities and maintenance of a network of safety contacts with affiliates as well as to external experts.
Product Safety Adviser in Endocrinology
The ideal candidate will be a Medical Doctor preferably with documented experience with pharmacoepidemiology, including a good knowledge of international legal requirements for drug safety vigilance and reporting. Additionally, the candidate will have a good knowledge of Endocrinology.
Previous experience from pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
Product Safety Adviser in Critical/Intensive Care
The ideal candidate will have a Medical Doctor degree with documented experience from clinical trials in Critical Care, Intensive Care and/or Trauma. Previous experience from pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
Product Safety Adviser in Neurology
The ideal candidate will have a Medical Doctor degree with documented clinical experience in Neurology/ Neurosurgery. Previous experience from pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
Additionally the following skills are very important for the three positions:
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
A good knowledge of computers and databases.
Adaptability and willingness to relocate to Copenhagen
Flexibility and cooperation skills in an international environment with external advisers and clinical experts.
