Product Lead, Merchant

We are looking for a Product Lead to join our Merchant team in Tallinn, Helsinki or Berlin! Merchant products are at the foundation of Wolt. Our mission is to make Wolt an integral part of our merchants' daily lives. We give them tools and automations that are useful, efficient, reliable, and delightful to use. Our products are built around self-service, which helps us keep trust at the core of our partner relationships.

Our users are thousands of Wolt employees, tens of thousands of restaurants, and hundreds of thousands of merchant employees. Our tools are used by them daily, with a very high degree of engagement. This is a very unique combination of not only scale, but also a true partnership we have with the users. In this environment, the products we work on can make a true difference in the way our merchants work. The Merchant team itself is a group of +30 people (and growing fast!), including 4 product management professionals as well as data, design, and engineering people. We are ased in Helsinki HQ, as well as working remotely in Tallinn, Berlin and Copenhagen. 

As a Product Lead, you will work with a cross-functional team of engineering, design, data, and analytics in a high visibility role. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, prioritisation, and setting the vision for the team. This involves leading multiple projects and cross-team product initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, partnering with business and operational stakeholders as well as understanding and analysing our end-users. Your home base would be our product management department but you will be working on a daily basis with the Merchant team. The role will start as an IC role but if you would be interested in leading other product folks -  we are more than happy to give this opportunity in the future as we keep growing (humble brag - we have been really good promotion people internally) 

• You could come to this role from a multitude of different backgrounds, but ideally, you have 

• Expertise in how to work with and coach cross-functional teams, at least with developers, data experts, and with engineering teams

• A mixture of data analysis skills, engineering understanding and business savvy with the go-getter attitude of a "could-be start-up CEO." 

• Experience working with products that consumers genuinely love

• Desire to be in a high-ownership role. You need to be comfortable with both getting your hands dirty as well as driving cross-team projects outside of your domain

• Plenty of previous experience in the product management domain  -  you know what it takes to develop a great product

The compensation is a combination of monthly pay and Wolt stock options. The latter makes it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you'll own a piece of the pie.
