Piping Erection Supervisor

The Piping Erection supervisor is responsible for supervising the subcontractor’s personnel and their work. He makes sure that all work is completed on schedule and within budget. He reports to the Electrical Construction Manager.
Tasks
• Responsible for erection documentation related to instrumentation
• Make sure that all subordinate personnel, subcontractors and other employees work safely and with a state of good order
• Communication directly with Erection management to resolve and clarify any technical issues
• Constant checking to ensure all quality requirements are being met
• Daily reporting of discipline erection works status to the Electrical Construction Manager
• Checking to ensure all tools and plant are secured at the end of the workday.
• Constantly monitoring, noting and recording any situations that may rise the cost variances and taking any necessary actions to resolve any such situations.
• Frequent safety discussions with employees and enforcing zero tolerance for unsafe acts

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering (Electrical)
• Previous experience in site construction execution
• Previous experience and knowledge of Power Plant processes.
• Specific knowledge about piping, welding and installation of Instrumentation of turbines, boilers etc
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken). Any local language is an advantage
• Active in solving problems and the ability to make quick and right decisions
• Motivated and goal-oriented to achieve targets set
• Good team leading skills, ability to delegate work and to set priorities
