Reason for jobs
We need a totally new perspective to our pre-production and design department. Also we are looking for someone who is hungry to develop their skills to world class. Our staff are good but seem content to continue to do what they currently do and at the same level.
We want to develop this area a lot and we need someone who will help us drive this forward.
The current job is not very difficult but can be under great time pressure. There will be times that you do not have as much time to think as you would like. You will need to be able to keep calm and focused.
The job is going to develop into a much more sophisticated one and you will have to tackle new skills and understanding each and every week. You will need to do this while still doing the normal work.
However you will be sitting next to 2 (sometimes 3) people who can help you at any time.
This is open to anyone with good experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. If your knowledge is limited on these two packages then this job is not suitable for you. You will have worked with the programmes for at least 2 years and have completed many projects.
If you have skills in other packages this is very welcome but not essential.
We offer wonderful training that will take your expertise to a level that will guarantee you a job anywhere in the world. As you develop the salary will develop as well. The starting salary is good but should improve considerably within a year or two.
We have great systems and these can help you be more productive and more creative.
The basic salary for 40 hours per week is £14,500 (€21,500) per annum. All hours after 40 in any week are paid at 150% of a normal hour. You will work with a good, fast computer, the correct software and all the training materials you could want. We will help you locate suitable accommodation. There is quite a good Estonian community in Glasgow.
At the beginning you may not have money for an air ticket, accommodation and similar. We can advance you money and take it off your earnings over a few months. You may prefer to arrange these items yourself. Whatever suits you.
