Job Description

SMA DFM expert, PCB designer
Purpose of the role:
To provide Printed Boards and assembled product design producibility reviews in accordance to project stage requirements, establish direct communication with Design Units and Process Engineering. Continuous support of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects in product design preparation and improvement for the volume manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:
PCB design producibility review
Product design analysis after assembly
Grading of product design readiness for manufacturing
Communication with Design Unit and reporting to Project
Process improvement feedback to DFM competence group
Products design development for SMA Process Technology requirements

Requirements

Experience:
Essential
Work experience from technical field
Experience of CAD/CAM software
Schematic and Layout design of PCB
Understanding technical documentation
Good verbal and written English
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Advantageous
Work experience in SMA production processes
Work experience in PCB manufacturing processes

Qualifications:
Essential
University degree in technical field and at least 2 year work experience in the same area or relevant
College/Polytechnic level education and at least 3 year work experience at the same area
Estonian, English and Russian on communication level
