Networking Competence Manager

The Infrastructure Business Unit is the central provider of state-of-the-art IT infrastructure platform solutions to Playtech’s B2B customers. Our customers can trust us with running the IT infrastructure of their gaming environments so they can focus on running their primary activities. Together with other operational units we are responsible for 24/7 support and continuous improvement of our platform solutions. In parallel to daily operational work Infrastructure Business Unit runs R&D activities, enhancing the infrastructure platform constantly by using modern technologies and approaches.

Responsibilities of the Networking Competence Manager will include: Working as part of the team, designing, building and supporting complex network solutions and management tools.

- At least 6 years experience as a network specialist and/or architect is essential
- Good understanding of networking technologies, including dynamic routing protocols and switching technologies
- Experience in building Linux/BSD firewalls and/or is familiar with commercial firewalls (Checkpoint, Juniper, etc.)
- Open source and/or F5 load balancers know-how
- Familiar with high availability environments and technologies
- Experience in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Perl is a plus
- Managerial experience is a plus
- Systematic and well organized
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Good communication skills
- A team player

- University degree is a plus
