Starship delivery robots have completed over 1.5 million autonomous deliveries to date, traveled over 2 million miles, crossed over 15 million roads, and met millions of people in cities around the world. Every day our delivery robots are completing thousands of autonomous deliveries across tens of cities and 5 countries around the world. We’re hitting records on an almost weekly basis. Our Manufacturing team is looking for Manufacturing Technicians who will help us produce delivery robots, while also maintaining Starship's reputation for quality craftsmanship. We'd love for you to join if you are inspired by working with cutting-edge technology, and you want to ensure that consistent, premium-quality robots roll off our production line.
Your responsibility will be:
- Building delivery robots and their components
- Designing and building production tools to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Guiding and training new technicians
Requirements
A successful Manufacturing Technician will:
- Have a passion for robots and innovative technologies
- Have basic knowledge/experience of mechanics, electronics, and IT (this may come from education, previous working experience, or hobby projects)
- Be skilled at reading technical drawings
- Have good knowledge of written and spoken English
It is a bonus if you have:
- Design and quality control experience in product manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
