Job Description

  • Ensuring GDPR requirements, alignment and support at IKEA Baltics
  • Monitoring compliance with the GDPR and with IKEA Baltics policies that relate to the processing of personal data
  • Creating awareness and training on data protection
  • Providing accurate and timely advice in a variety of legal topics (data protection law, business law, labour law, etc.)
  • Supporting colleagues in different daily legal tasks
  • Draft and review contracts, internal policies and other legal documents
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal requirements

Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • University degree in law and at least 2 years of relevant legal work experience
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR, and understanding of information security
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in data protection
  • Very good organizational skills and setting of priorities, ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • CIPP or similar certification is an advantage
