LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER

• Driving the technical design and implementation of scalable, resilient, secure, performant and user-friendly web store.
• Driving the adoption of good, mutually agreed engineering practices
• Understanding the main end-to-end business processes
• Work and portfolio planning and prioritization
• Optimising the overall cost-efficiency of the developed serv

• Strong software engineering background, including cloud deployed software and years of web development experience
• Experience in leading development work/team
• Experience in customer centric digital service development
• Polyglot programming language skills; we value HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin and
scripting languages such as Python
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Gatsby and Next.js
• Good knowledge of NodeJS, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs and preferably also GraphQL
• Deep understanding and experience in designing modern digital service architecture
including multimodal clients, cloud platforms and integrations
• Good understanding of agile software development, analytics, A/B testing,
DevOps, test automation, and related technologies
• Business expertise and experience, especially in e-commerce
• Hands-on experience using an off-the-shelf eCommerce platform
