Job Description

Do you want to be a part of an organization with two of the strongest coffee brands in Baltics? We work with two famous coffee brands Merrild and Lavazza, where Lavazza is Italy's premium coffee no.1. Company is in positive development and looking for a Key Account Manager in Estonia to work with our Key Customers. The position will be located in Tallinn.

 

Your area of responsibility:

You will be responsible to develop, steer and manage Merrild & Lavazza retail business to achieve sales targets (distribution, product range, display quality, trade terms, price, investments, and activities) in Estonia Key Customers. You will manage and develop category leadership status in Estonia Key Customers. You will be accountable of Budget, Brand Plan, Trade Plan, Trade activation plan, volume forecast, SWOT, Trade universe map in Key Customers.

Specific areas of responsibility:

You will plan and implement the following activities in Key Customers:

  • achieve business targets (distribution and display) by customer;
  • implement annual activity plans with all customers;
  • implement marketing strategy which supports achieving sales & brand targets;
  • volume, budget and revenue management;
  • daily communication and customer management on a highly professional level;
  • merchandising coverage, market pricing, price distance analysis and pricing tactics.

You will have an impact on our team and processes by:

  • proactively supplying marketing colleagues with ideas and opportunities;
  • ensuring best return of brand investments through synchronized brand and trade programs;
  • deliver best in-store execution quality via 3rd party services in a cost-efficient way;
  • building customer business plans;
  • flagging issues and customer problems and pro-actively seeking solutions.

Requirements

  • language knowledge: fluent Estonian and English (written and verbally), good Russian language skills;
  • computer literate, good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • strong negotiation and selling skills;
  • analytical capabilities (able to assess, recommend and implement on own);
  • valid driving license;
  • ability for travel;
  • planning and organizing skills (ability to work independent, personal goal setting, high level accuracy, time management, prioritizing, delegating);
  • good analytical skills (interpreting numeric & qualitative data etc.);
  • excellent communication skills (listening skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills);
  • flexibility in adapting to fast-changing operating environment;
  • willingness to learn fast & help others learn;
  • ability to flag and escalate;
  • passion for FMCG and last but not least – coffee J.

Background:

You hold a commercial or business-oriented University degree. You have a minimum of 3 years previous working experience in FMCG. You have gained sales experience in customer management, negotiations and delivering result against set targets.

You have a high level of drive, you thrive when you are busy, and are passionate about making a difference. You are a team player, but also enjoy working independently. Finally, you like to work with many types of stakeholders and tasks.
