- Ensure big data applications are up and running, 24x7;
- Discover and troubleshoot any issues;
- Proactively propose improvements to processes and application architecture;
- Work together with users to ensure operational excellence;
- Work alongside big data professionals and learn from their experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology and related, or a great reason for not having one;
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking;
- Ability to work under pressure with stakeholders, incl. being ready to respond to incidents during weekend and night time (when it is your shift);
- Understanding of Big Data, Data Lake, Cloud;
- Good team player and self-driven;
- Good to have experience: Infrastructure Management (e.g. ETL Tools, Schedulers, Linux Admin, DBA etc.), Microsoft Azure (ADLS), SQL, Hortonworks/Hadoop, Kafka.
