Service Engineer

We are looking for a Service Engineer to our automation team in Estonia. Your primary location will be in our Tallinn office, Estonia. You will serve our customers in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are looking for a business-minded and self-driven professional, who has genuineinterest in providing front line service works to the Valmet Automation installed base. Get ready to put your creative brain to work, as you will get to grasp our customer’s needs and find adequate solutions in a fast paced, diverse and ever changing industrial environment. You willserve customers in energy, pulp & paper, chemical, food and other such kind of process industries.

You answer to customer service inquiries (phone calls, emails, other communication) and forward service inquiries to Service Manager in Valmet Automation Baltic office. You shall provide or participate in emergency and demand service works to the Valmet Automation installed base. Participating in execution of upgrade projects and informing customers about Valmet Automation service products such as upgrades, spare parts and extensions to the installed base, are essential in your role. You will listen to customer needs and inform Valmet Automation sales and service teams about possible leads. You also report service works to Service Manager according to Valmet Automation rules and procedures.

  M.Sc. or B.Sc. including industry automation area. Few years of experience in similar position (especially in process industries like energy, pulp&paper, food, chemical etc.) is a plus. Good networking and collaboration skills and previous experience on working in global matrix organization are essential. Ability to quickly build relationships and achieve results both individually and as part of a team are important.You communicate fluently in Estonian and English – other language skills (Russian, Latvian and Lithuanian) are a benefit. You have excellent communication and negotiations skills which enables you to operate in global business environment & customer interface between Valmetand the customer. Willingness to travel is required.
