IT Security Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cyber security professional to manage and oversee our organization’s cybersecurity initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security solutions to protect our IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats.

About the job

As the IT Security Team Lead, you will guide a team of junior security specialists, provide strategic direction, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the company’s cybersecurity measures are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will also play a critical role in incident response, risk assessments, and the development of security policies and procedures.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/XDR etc.).
• Experience with security compliance and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, CIS, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in incident response and forensic investigation.
• Knowledge of secure software development and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of various attack methods (parameter manipulation, session hijacking, cross-site scripting, etc)
