Investment manager

You will be responsible for implementing Trade Finance Limited Partnership Fund investment strategy and managing of the risks relating to investment of the assets of the fund by performing tasks, including (but not limited to):
(i) the selection of trade finance related investment opportunities with risk / ratio profile in line with the Trade Finance Limited Partnership Fund’s investment strategy and policy;
(ii) the underwriting of such investment opportunities;
(iii) the monitoring of the Trade Finance Limited Partnership Fund’s assets.

You will handle the identification and selection process of trade finance related investment opportunities by liaising with EEA banks and financial institutions.

You will underwrite the selected investment opportunities by using market practice risk sub-participation agreements.

- You hold a Bachelor or a Master’s in finance, economics or equivalent. Having had preliminary exposure to trade finance instruments is a plus, but it is not mandatory. You have previous experience with risk management and have a basic understanding of financial instruments such as straight discount, DTY and the likes.

- You are an Estonian national resident and familiar with Estonian regulatory environments such as the Investment Fund Act, you are familiar with the applicable guidelines of the supervisory authorities, as well as Estonian best practices.

- You have advanced Excel skills including the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data.

- You have a basic understanding of applicable law principles.

- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- You have personal integrity and the drive to do what is best for the fund and the same time in compliance with all the regulations.

- You are fluent in Estonian and English.

- You are reliable, organized and flexible.

- You have high ethical standards.

Working hours: Partial/ full time (flexible office hours)

We offer flexibility with the possibility to work remotely (but in any case, within the proximity of Tallinn, Estonia).

Time of starting work: by agreement of the parties.
