Infrastructure Engineer

Invibes is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking to grow our R&D team with sharp-minded engineers that will contribute to the set-up of our future infrastructure while finding smart solutions. We are looking for a creative colleague with a technical and practical understanding of the challenges of a web product with millions of active users (>100M requests per day reach our servers) and big data warehouses (>2.5M daily active pages generating more than 80GB of raw data daily).

We are highly specialized in big data and algorithmic software engineering and supply our clients of various sectors with more accessible ways to empower consumer and marketing data. Invibes is investing strongly in its R&D and software development capabilities. To support this investment and growth we are looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Engineer.

You will be responsible for:

• Provisioning, maintaining, and automating servers and platforms running on bare metal and Microsoft Azure;
• Installing and configuring load balancers, content delivery networks, DNS, MSSQL/ Postgres/ Redis databases, and IIS application servers;
• Ensuring compliance to security policies;
• Incident management and updating documentation.

What you need to succeed:

• You have a higher degree in Computer Science and/or at least 3 years of relevant working experience;
• Linux & Windows Server administration experience, preferably with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet or Chef);
• Insight to Azure tools and services (Traffic Manager, Load Balancer, MSSQL, etc.;
• Good understanding of working with SSL certificates;
• Previous experience with PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python scripting;
• Knowledge of monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana;
• Experience writing SQL queries and performing root-cause analysis in Postgres and MSSQL;
• Fluency in English;
