Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking to grow our R&D team with sharp-minded engineers that will contribute to the set-up of our future infrastructure while finding smart solutions. We are a web product with millions of active users (>100M requests per day reach our servers) and big data warehouses (>2.5M daily active pages generating more than 80GB of raw data daily).

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Invibes, you will be configuring, monitoring and maintaining our servers on Linux/Windows and web applications. Part of our infrastructure is in Azure, the rest are physical servers in different data centers globally. 

• You have a higher degree in Computer Science and relevant working experience;
• 50/50 Linux & Windows administration experience: install and configure OS, apps and services;
• DB (SQL & Postgres ) experience: install / configure server, backup, migration, store procedures (basic SQL-queries);
• Good understanding of CDN, DNS, load balancer (Totaluptime);
• HTTP, SSL certificates (or at least heard about it);
• PowerShell / bash for custom installation / configuration scripts.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ansible and monitoring apps (Grafana, Opsgenie);
• Experience with Azure cloud apps or DBs;
• Pragmatic approach for research tasks (cost/quality analysis);
• Pro-active toward optimization and performance of apps/servers;
