Head of Marketing, Bolt Business

We’re looking for an experienced B2B head of marketing to lead our Bolt Business global marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for creating and deploying the marketing strategies for the business across all the markets in which we operate. Bolt Business is growing fast, our product is evolving rapidly and our teams are ready to evolve and scale. We’re looking for a driven individual, with experience of B2B marketing who can turbo charge and build our marketing activities into a core growth channel for Bolt Business. We need a superstar who’s been there and done it, with a history of great results. You’ll need to be a multi-tasker, a seasoned marketing manager and know how to get your team to deliver results fast. We’re moving quick and this is a new and exciting role, one with huge scope for growth and impact. Your daily adventures will include:

  • Oversee a global Bolt Business marketing strategy, including budgeting and opportunity specific planning.
  • Steer high quality impactful marketing campaigns - with well known B2B levers and specific high ROI channel targeting.
  • Comprehend and analyse marketing data and analytics, to interpret and steer spend & overarching strategy towards high value opportunities.
  • Project manage and steer lifecycle coms, focusing on low conversion points and interpreting data to steer team work effort and maximise ROI.
  • Feed into product and web, on marketing opportunities, conversion gaps and upsell opportunities.
  • Manage B4B marketing budget and hold accountability for ROI and spend maximisation.
  • Lead and steer local market initiatives and campaigns, work with local reps to support market specific activities.
  • Drive and steer marketing team resources (content/ads/lifecycle) with clear direction and feedback, to improve B2B relevance and timely delivery of projects/initiatives.
  • Work with outsourced and in-house teams to deliver impactful B2B content, campaigns, sales support materials and projects to drive growth and acquisition.
  • Work on loyalty, acquisition and activation campaigns to grow and retain our userbase.
  • Manage and optimise marketing driven inbound lead generation, build a robust acquisition strategy that dovetails with sales & life cycle touchpoints.
  • Optimise life cycle and conversion opportunities for inbound leads, sign-ups and existing users.

Requirements

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand building (in-house or creative agency)
  • A portfolio that you’re proud of
  • Proven track record of campaigns generating earned media
  • Solid understanding of media landscape and channel interactions
  • Experience working on complex projects simultaneously
  • Exposure to influencing and partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Creative ambition, passion for out-of-the-box thinking, souvenirs from advertising competitions can help

Why you’ll love it here:

  • 6+ years of successful previous experience in B2B marketing (ideally in tech, SaaS or B2B service sales), with at least 2+ years in a management role.
  • Experience of building winning marketing strategies and consistently exceeding growth targets.
  • Experience in B2B content marketing, SEO, social media and lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven capability to manage large budgets and generate strong ROI from your strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced tech scale up, with proven ability to multitask, move very quickly and get things done.
  • Analytical, with excellent knowledge of analytic tools to identify opportunities and evaluate results.
  • Experience with loyalty programs and B2C referrals would be a benefit.
