Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support profitable and sustainable market share growth while respecting adidas Group brand images in key categories and defined target groups.
We are looking for an individual with proven track record in leading a high performance key account management team. If you are the right candidate, you will have a proven track record for complex problem solving, excellent negotiation skills, perseverance and an outstanding attitude and commitment to succeed in all aspects of the adidas business model.
Your Tasks:
Functional:
• develop objectives, strategies and tactics based on a solid fact base on each brand along clearly defined guidelines
• to specify and negotiate agreements within CIS frameworks
• to ensure and support effective and efficient implementation and tracking of action plans jointly with the Commercial Director and Head of Field Accounts
• to ensure reliable and cost efficient supply of merchandise and responsiveness for requests and complaints as well as administration of contractual agreements and payments (with Customer Service department)
• to develop and maintain personal relationships with key decision takers and key members on highest possible levels
• to generate new ideas and execute them with the purpose to further increase market share and net sales
Personnel:
• to staff the most suitable persons in direct report positions in alignment with Commercial Director
• to set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all reports
• to develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job
• to manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
• to ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces
Controlling:
• to measure progress on own KPIs
• to report to all superiors along MIS guidelines
• to monitor all reports
• to monitor and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions
• to provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance
• to ensure customer compliance with agreements
Requirements
What we expect:
• University degree in business with marketing and sales focus
• Functional: > 8 years in commercial field
• Industry: ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG Leadership: > 5 years experience
• Exposure: sports
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent English language skills; Russian language skills a bonus
