Finance Specialist

For this role, we are looking for a person with “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills. To succeed in this role, you need to be proactive and able to perform independently and persistently. It’s crucial that you are able to adapt easily to changing situations and you are motivated to constantly develop and improve processes and ways of working.

Job Description

• Supporting end-users with queries regarding processes 
• Investigating issues, when needed also escalating and involving other departments (e.g. IT, Treasury) as per defined processes
• Testing solution proposals and documenting successful solutions
• Handling central administrative tasks for defined processes (e.g. user access)
• Participating in new country/company implementations
• Providing training, creating and updating end-user instructions
• Participating in further development of the process and tools, together with the Finance Transformation team

• Academic degree in economics or other relevant major or at the end of academic studing
• Previous experience in accounting as well as familiarity with one or several of the listed financial processes: account reconciliation, journal entries, closing scheduling, leasing, payments, indirect tax process
• Good organisational skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• SAP FI skills - skills in Aico, SAP CLM, and/or TIS are considered beneficial
