Finance & Administration Manager/Assistant Manager, Europe & West Africa

Job Description

We are looking for a Finance & Administration Manager/Assistant Manager to manage, monitor and enhance our European & West Africa entities (mainly Estonia, Switzerland & Ivory Coast) financial reporting and internal control, coordinate the costs and efficiency initiatives, local administration control, and ensuring compliance to law and regulatory requirements. The role will be report directly to the Group Finance Manager and work hand-in hand with the other department staffs to support the Europe/West Africa entities functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day local office administrative support functions (more on European entities), i.e. hotel, flight reservation as well as local logistics transfer for guests, office IT and network handling, stationary control etc, and work with headquarter human resources division to roll out and administer human resources matters
  • Responsible on the monthly finance and accounting reporting, and detailed cost variance analysis
  • Co-ordinate with all other head of department in implementing the full utilisation of the SAP to enhance internal controls and provide more timely and accurate reporting of key financial and operational data.
  • Analyse and co-ordinate with all other department in developing, implementing the costs saving initiative.
  • Work with Group Finance Manager and oversee the local tax, transfer pricing documentation and statutory (social security and pension) governance, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Work with Group Finance Manager to review and monitor the financial management and statutory reporting including implementing and reviewing various accounting system and internal control.
  • Work with audit and tax agent and complete the annual audit and tax compliance submission.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance and Accountancy or equivalent
  • 5-8 years relevant working experience
  • Possess sound administration, finance and accounting knowledge and working level proficiency of tax knowledge in European region especially Estonia and Switzerland. Knowledges in West Africa region will be an added advantage.
