Job Description

We are seeking an Events Manager to support one of Mindvalley's most important event: Mindvalley University.

About the role

Do you love contributing to the organisation of life-changing events? Join our team to managing day-to-day processes of planning and executing the Mindvalley University event.

The role is based in Estonia but as a part of this role, you will be also spending 1 month in our HQ in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) as a part of your on-boarding journey. The trip will be fully paid by Mindvalley, and you will get to experience the amazing 54+ nationalities culture of our HQ, culture events, meeting the core team and learning the ropes of your role.

Responsibilities

Planning & executing various projects for Mindvalley University.
Close collaboration with the project managers in day to day planning activities for the event while working closely with Events Team and other Mindvalley Teams, such as Design Team, Author Relations Team, Membership Team, etc.
Input to customer communication, sales & marketing ideas related to the event.
Support with sponsorship deals for the event.
Helping with the necessary coordination with local vendors and venues at the event destination.
Assisting with the coordination of invoices with MV Finance Team.
Supporting the speakers and staff with travel arrangements, accommodation and other logistics.
Assisting with the coordination of invoices with MV Finance Team.
Any other event management related tasks where help is needed.
Potential event management role at Mindvalley’s various other live events (Mindvalley Live, A-Fest, etc - exact needs to confirmed prior each event)

Requirements

Excellent command of English, great verbal and written communication skills.
At least 2 years of experience in event management, marketing or project management.
Adaptability in a fast moving environment.
Excellent problem solving skills and resourcefulness.
Good understanding of numbers and spreadsheets.
Great organisational skills and attention for details in planning and executing live events.
Ability to multi-task and manage and prioritize various tasks and projects at the same time.
Ability to collaborate and work well in a team.
Self starter who is able to take initiative and be proactive in contributing toward the team and goals.
