Job Description
The role entails analysing the need for novel suppliers, then screening and onboarding them. You will closely work with our production teams to understand the capabilities they have and ensure that the required services are offered. The primary responsibilities of this position include visiting and auditing the suppliers.
You will
- Work with our present partners and understand their problems.
- Onboard new partners - demo our solution and teach our ways.
- Supplier auditing.
- Work with other departments to understand future manufacturing capability and capacity needs.
Requirements
- Experience in negotiating supplier agreements, developing and executing sourcing strategies, and improving supplier relationships in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, availability to be (video)meeting the partner companies.
- Forward thinking, “let’s do it” attitude.
- Passion for (self-)improvement.
- Bachelor of Engineering / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
