Data Protection Officer

Advising and ensuring Bigbank group compliance with GDPR and internal data protection requirements, monitoring our adherence to GDPR standards and acting as a point of contact with supervisory authorities and data subjects. You will also be involved in the creation of policies and procedures that enforce compliance with legislation, conduct field related audits and deliver GDPR trainings to our staff to increase awareness of data protection measures.

• You have higher education;
• You have expert knowledge of data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR, and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation;
• You are familiar with effective management of data incidents and breaches;
• Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and information security standards;
• You have good ability to make judgements regarding data privacy risks and to prioritise resources and acitivity around managing those risks;
• Good knowledge of finance sector or alternatively other related external regulatory requirements is recommended;
• In depth knowledge and experience of information technology and data management systems is preferred;
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills;
• Able to manage many projects simultaneously at high quality level;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Estonian and English languages.
