Customer Support Specialist

Job Description

Here’s some info to break the ice:

2019 was a fun, cheerful, and productive year for AirGuru: €7M sales turnover and 17,000 smiling tourists, all without owning any physical travel assets.

The plan for 2020 was even more ambitious, unfortunately, the reality was tasted by the sour lemons of COVID.

So, in 2021, we squeezed the remaining lemons into tequila, sprinkled salt, and a real party began - we doubled the result of the summer of 2019!

In 2022, we decided that Lithuania’s achievements were not enough for us, and we stepped into 2 new markets and brought the party to the whole Baltics!

The party guest list is filling up fast, but we still have spots available. We are currently looking for Customer Support Specialist.

Requirements

The first task is simple: answer YES to all of the following:

  • Do you speak Estonian (Russian, in addition, would be an advantage) and prefer to work remotely?
  • A stable working day without challenges and a lot of chatter with a colleague about the weather outside is not interesting;
  • A liberal work environment without clichés, prejudices, dress codes, and micromanagement suits you;
  • You can spend a long time explaining to your friends that working in tourism is more interesting than working in a call center.
  • You always “roll up your sleeves” while “thinking outside the box” on your way to “go the extra mile” instead of dropping the clichés and just getting the work done.

Next, a quick background check:

  • You have 1+ years of experience in the field of customer service;
  • You know travel directions, and if you don't - you can learn quickly;
  • You communicate well in various ways - by phone, e-mail, messenger, Whatsapp, and in any other way;
  • Technology is your loyal friend, not that awkward stranger;
  • You understand that individualists who work well in a team can achieve cosmic results;
  • Your Estonian language writing skills and attentiveness are at a super high level;
  • You are able to support Estonian (and Russian-speaking clients would be a huge advantage) and communicate with English-speaking colleagues.
  • You don't need a nanny at work - you can and want to take responsibility for yourself.

Now that you’re ready to board - let’s talk about your typical day at the office:

  • You will help AirGuru customers conveniently and quickly book trips online - you will consult them, send travel documents, payment reminders, check-in for flights online, etc.;
  • You will be monitoring and taking care of web travel orders;
  • You will work in a small team together with a country manager and a travel agent and will be contributing to the Airguru scale project in Estonia;
  • You will have a LOT of work - maybe sometimes even too much to keep up with everything, but the more and better the work you do, the more money you and your team will earn;
  • You are not afraid of high goals and a lot of work - this is the only way we can improve and move forward (or up?).

Company offers

What’s in it for you?

  • We are a fast-growing company and we like our people to grow with us
  • We celebrate all wins - because a bunch of small victories make for a successful team
  • You can throw all those vision boards away - our work environment is just as inspiring.
  • You get paid for doing what you love! And the more you love it - the more you earn
  • Hang up that tie, and box away those high-heels. There’s no dress code in our office (just change out of pyjamas, please).
  • Actually, we don’t have an office in Estonia, but if we will, there will be no dress code. You will work remotely.
  • You don’t need to have Zuckerberg’s achievements or Einstein’s smarts. But it helps if you have the drive to come close to their success.
  • And because you probably do (yes, this deserved an individual bullet point) - we can’t wait to hear your awesome ideas!
