Job Description
Head Chef
We are looking for a professional Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Herttua Hotel & Spa in Kerimäki, Finland, for a full-time position. We have a grand opening on 1.05.23 after a renovation and rebranding.
The hotel has 90 rooms, a restaurant for 200 guests and summer terrace for 50 guests.
The person we are looking for will be responsible for managing the kitchen: kitchen staff, menus, purchases, calculations, etc.
Requirements
Recent previous experience as a Head Chef/Sous Chef in hotel kitchen
Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards and presentation
Proven success at leading a team to achieve high standards
Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and motivational skills
Ability to motivate team
Sound knowledge and passion for food
Thorough knowledge of kitchen management
Applicants must be legally entitled to work within Finland and the EU
Good English language
Finnish language is encouraged
